Humans of Industry helps people document, improve, and reproduce useful hardware: designs, materials, processes, field notes, and the stories behind the people who make them.

We believe the best hardware knowledge should be open, practical, well-documented, and centered on real human needs.

Like a field guide for production, Humans of Industry turns community experience into reusable blueprints: what worked, what failed, what materials were used, how it was assembled, and how others can improve it.

Start with the people using, repairing, producing, and living with the product.

Open by default

Plans, parts, processes, and lessons are structured so others can build on them.

Production-aware

Designs include tolerances, sourcing, fabrication notes, tools, and practical constraints.

Iterative

Products improve through community tests, local adaptation, and documented revisions.

Each product page can hold drawings, BOMs, source files, fabrication steps, user feedback, environmental notes, and alternate builds.

Use this section for featured projects, recently improved designs, community challenges, or an index of product categories.
